As a film director with a dance background, Mikki has a strong understanding of how the body communicates. From bold choreography to subtle shifts in posture. She loves to observe - and bend - the rules of everyday life: how we move, connect with others, and reveal emotion. In writing film, she taps into the direct emotional power of movement to tell a story or brand’s message.
By pushing movement beyond abstraction and the camera beyond documentation, she shapes her own narrative language. Her debut short film ‘The Gift’ (2025) is currently on the international festival circuit.
Throughout her commercial career, Mikki collaborated with clients such as IKEA, ECCO, Zalando, Klabu, Nike, Heineken, Vodafone, Ronald McDonald House, Libresse, Top Notch and Sony Music. In addition to directing, she draws on experience in both the art department and production, bringing a distinctive visual style and a sharp eye for detail.
