About Mikki
As a film director with a dance background, I see movement in many things: a subtle shift in posture, a kiss, a spontaneous victory dance, an act of resistance, or collective expression.

For me it starts with intention: how we move around each other, take up space, come together or pull away.

When writing a film, I often take everyday behaviour as a starting point, and let it evolve until it lands somewhere unexpected. Whether through raw improvisation or bold choreography, movement always follows the narrative; I never want it there just for the aesthetic.

Throughout her commercial career, Mikki collaborated with clients such as IKEA, ECCO, Zalando, Klabu, Nike, Heineken, Vodafone, Ronald McDonald House, Libresse, Top Notch and Sony Music. In addition to directing, she draws on experience in both the art department and production, bringing a distinctive visual style and a sharp eye for detail.

Her debut short film ‘The Gift’ (2025) runs currently on the international festival circuit.
